2007 'Pocari Sweat' Three-Player Basketball Tournament was held on July 28 at Tianhe Sports Center, Guangzhou. Over 1000 players in 252 teams competed in the event, including 25 female teams.

Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Hongyuan Men's Basketball Club, Mr. Liu Hongjiang, with teammates Yu Liang, Qu Shaobin, Zhang Jie, Ji Le, Su Wei and Chen Dawei attended the opening ceremony. They also had a Friendship Match with the champion team on July 29.

Mr. Liu Hongjiang stated that it was the first time for Guangdong Hongyuan Men's Basketball Club to attend an Amateur Three-Player Basketball Tournament. The men’s champion team will have a chance to live and train in Guangdong Hongyuan’s training base for five days, to experience the life of a professional basketball team.
